A person with a balanced or clear root chakra feels grounded (present here and now), healthy and fully alive. The person feels unlimited physical energy. A balanced root chakra motivates a person to take good care of one’s body. People who have open root chakras feel secure, are emotionally stable and love who they are. An open root chakra also helps us make wise financial decisions. It can help women to integrate their masculine power and the men their feminine power.
A person with an over active root chakra would be domineering and highly strung. Such a person will have difficulty in sleeping. The person could likely become aggressive, reckless, greedy, impulsive and sexually manipulative. As a weak root chakra harbors insecurity, the person is inclined to see everything and everyone as a threat.
On the other hand, an under-active root chakra would make a person feel tired and lethargic. Such a person would be afraid of changes and be overcautious. An under-active root chakra builds a disinterest in life, fear of abandonment, low confidence and harbors thoughts of self-destruction.
